An announcement<https://www.icann.org/en/announcements/details/icann-publishes-the-proposed-...> has been published today on icann.org that the Proposed for Adoption FY22-26 Operating and Financial Plan and FY22 Operating Plan and Budget have been sent to the ICANN Board and have been published on the public comment page as noted below:

Today, the Internet Corporation of Assigned Names and Numbers organization (ICANN org) published<https://www.icann.org/public-comments/draft-opplan-budget-fy22-26-2020-12-17...> the Proposed for Adoption FY22-26 Operating and Financial Plan and the FY22 Operating Plan and Budget, which will be considered for adoption by the Board in mid-May. Publishing the Proposed for Adoption plans is an important step in ensuring transparency by showing exactly what changed in the first drafts, prior to their adoption by the Board.

These versions have taken into consideration the Public Comments, and where appropriate and feasible, have incorporated them into the Proposed for Adoption plans. There were, however, no significant changes to the FY22 Draft Plans posted in December 2020. Please refer to this revised document, which highlights<https://www.icann.org/en/system/files/files/highlights-proposed-op-financial...> in detail the changes made. Additionally, please see the staff report<https://www.icann.org/public-comments/draft-opplan-budget-fy22-26-2020-12-17...> on Public Comments published in March 2021.

The Board is expected to consider the Proposed for Adoption FY22-26 Operating and Financial Plan and the FY22 Operating Plan and Budget during an upcoming Board meeting in mid-May. Under ICANN's Bylaws<https://www.icann.org/resources/pages/governance/bylaws-en>, following the Board's adoption of these plans, the Empowered Community may consider whether it will reject each of the plans as adopted. As long as the Empowered Community rejection process remains pending, each of the plans adopted will take effect on 1 July 2021. Sincerely,
