To your questions, Kurt, I believe a call agenda will be circulated shortly. The call will take place in a Zoom webinar room which means Board members and councilors will be panelists (able to speak and write in the chat), other attendees will be silent observers.

To follow onto to Marie’s question: 

 

How are these calls conducted? Generally:  

 

Who kicks it off? 

Is it primarily a one-way presentation from the Board with questions afterward? 

Or will the Board ask the Council to actively interact or start with questions?

Are oral discussion and chat restricted to Council and Board members? Staff? Other attendees?

 

The answers to these will define how much homework I will need to do beforehand.

Pursuant to the Doodle poll we have scheduled the GNSO Council / Board discussion on theStandardized System for Access/Disclosure (SSAD) for 22 February at 19:00 UTC / 11am PST.

 

  • The purpose of the meeting is for the Board to explain how it envisions conducting the ODP and to the extent possible, showing how the elements flagged in the Council’s letter [gnso.icann.org] should more or less be captured already in the Board’s concept of the Operational Design Phase (ODP).
  • The meeting is open to all Board and GNSO Council members; attendance is optional.
