Attached please find a Staff Report on the Whois “study-to–date” as requested by the GNSO Council.  The Report is considered “draft” to provide the opportunity for corrections and updates (please provide within two weeks).  Also attached is an updated version of the “Whois Available Data Points” summary first distributed on 5 September, 2007. Staff will be circulating these documents to the ICANN constituencies for comment as well as the GNSO Council.
