FYI, please see below an excerpt of a conversation that was had during this week's ICANN Chairs call.

I am not aware of any specific problems at Council level, but would like to know if individual groups are having difficulties so that I can carry that message back if that's the case.

Hi,

I wanted to discuss  the difficulty the ccNSO is having with the revised comment period timelines - the current 21 day minimum comment period (followed by the reply comment period) means that we do not have sufficient time to formulate formal ccNSO comments to consultations. 

Olivier advised that the ALAC share this concern and have already raised it with ICANN staff, but as an AC they are able to comment outside of the comment period.

I was wondering if other SO/AC Chairs are also having difficulties.
