Dear all,

it may have been too short after the Beijing meeting that I’ve sent out the letter attached which draws attention to prepare for the GNSO meeting(s) Durban. So far I’ve received little (but essential) response. Therefore I’d like to kindly remind you to share your ideas re content and format of the meetings.

The council shall discuss a first draft of the Durban agenda on 16 May. There is a good chance to count in your thoughts this date.

Best regards

Wolf-Ulrich Knoben

Dear SG/Constituency and WG leaders,

as the ICANN meeting in Beijing has come to an end the next one in Durban is just 3 months ahead from now. Being responsible to coordinate the agendas for the various GNSO meetings I’d like to invite you to come up with items your respective Stakeholder groups / Constituencies / WGs may be interested in to be covered.

In particular I draw your attention to the sessions usually taking place at the ICANN meetings:
  • GNSO Saturday and Sunday sessions including
    • meeting with the Board
    • meeting with the GAC
    • meeting with other ACs
  • Meeting with the ccNSO
  • GNSO Council Public meeting
As we concluded in the GNSO wrap-up session room shall be given as much as possible for the community to discuss the items as well as for brainstorming.

Your early input is highly appreciated.

Best regards

Wolf-Ulrich Knoben
