I suspect a LOT of emails sent and received by many of us have those standard disclaimer footers. They’re default. And context should be our guide

Hello Maxim,

The confidentiality disclaimer does not apply in this case as you, the Council, and Community are the “intended recipients” and the information is not confidential.

Please do share and discuss!

Best,

Brian

Dear Brian,

Could we have some clarity on the reason for the confidentiality disclaimer to be used on the public list,

and how the Councilors are supposed to discuss the matters in their respective constituencies

without being able to share the information?

Sincerely Yours,

Dear GNSO Council,

Please find attached the Revised Inter-Registrar Transfer Policy: Policy Status Report. This version includes feedback received from public comments and associated survey, updated information from the EPDP on the Temporary Specification for gTLD Registration Data, and presents possible options for next steps.

ICANN org requests that the Council review the revised report and provide guidance on how to proceed.

We thank the Council and its members in advance for reviewing the revised report, and look forward to your feedback.

All best,

Brian
