Hi all
You may have seen that there is a Prep Week Board Community engagement session scheduled for Thursday
at 1800 UTC. Russ has shared the subject matter, as follows:
Prep Week Board/Community Engagement session will focus on the ICANN Community
Participant Code of Conduct re: Statements of Interest (e.g. the Code or Code of Conduct). The session will be framed as the code of conduct was adopted about 6 months ago, and this is a check in to see how it is going, and what more we as community should
do to help with its incorporation into ICANN participation. Here are potential prompts for that discussion:
·
Has there been any noticeable impact of the ICANN Participant Code of Conduct since its adoption?
·
What do you suggest is needed as next steps from the SO-ACs or ICANN org, to support further integration and implementation of the
Code into ICANN participation?
o
How can we achieve common understandings of what is expected to be disclosed?
o
Should there be norms for how to engage if you believe a colleague is not being current, complete, or accurate in their disclosures?
o
Are the current mechanisms for disclosure and finding colleagues' disclosures adequate?
