Dear All,

Please find attached for your review the latest update on the status of implementation of the GAC-GNSO Consultation Group recommendations. In short:

• You will find attached the GNSO flow chart which was developed in the context of the Hubba bubba exercise. Staff has added in blue the five steps of the GAC Quick Look Mechanism (QLM) as per recommendation #2. Following your review, we will post this version on the GNSO web-site. Note that in addition to the QLM, there are various other steps in the PDP that anticipate engagement with ICANN Supporting Organizations and Advisory Committees.
• A revised version of the GNSO Operating Procedures was published for public comment in June of this year, including the proposed revisions to make the QLM a standard feature of the PDP per recommendation #3 (see proposed new section 5 in the GNSO PDP manual at PDF). No comments were received in relation to these proposed revisions but as the update to the GNSO Operating Procedures was combined with other proposed changes which are still under GNSO Council consideration final adoption has not taken place yet. However, this is expected to happen prior to ICANN61.

Staff anticipates that all outstanding implementation items will be completed at the latest by ICANN61. If you have any comments and/or questions, please let me know. This update will also be shared with the GAC.
