Thanks to Flip for volunteering and Jeff, noted about the participation of GDS, or lack thereof, for at least the first call.
During the Council meeting on 15 June, I believe I heard that both Paul and Justine were willing and able to participate in this effort. I hope it’s safe to assume that the both of you are indeed volunteering,
even if you did not email confirmation. If there are others interested in volunteering, please do so by end of day today, after which staff will circulate a Doodle poll to find a time for the group to meet.

If I could recommend having the first call without GDS staff so that we can get ourselves organized and have open and frank conversations about the response I actually thing that that will be important. Perhaps
having GDS join us at the second call after we have ourselves a little more organized would be better.

This email is in relation to the GNSO Council meeting action items circulated by Nathalie a couple of hours ago, in particular, this one:
Staff to invite interested Councilors to join a call to discuss Jeff Neuman’s suggested responses to SubPro Question Set #4 and to develop a final draft response for Council review.
If you are interested in joining this small group for this limited effort, please inform the
gnso-secs@icann.org by no later than
24 June 2022. Once Councilors are identified, we will circulate a Doodle poll to identify a meeting time. Note that in order to allow for efficient resolution of this effort, it is critical that the draft responses (see:

In a brief conversation with my GDS colleagues who support the ODP, I understand they are interested in joining the dialogue. If you have any objections (or the opposite, if you believe this will be helpful
to you all), please do let us know so we can inform them accordingly.
