The SSC is expected to recommend in advance of the 20 December GNSO Council meeting a candidate to serve as a mentor for the ICANN Fellowship Program. The SSC has a meeting scheduled for Monday 17 December for this purpose. The document deadline for the Council meeting is Monday 10 December 2018 at 23:59 UTC. Please find attached a draft placeholder motion. The name of the recommended candidate can be filled in once the SSC agrees on a recommendation. 

- Motions should be sent to the Council mailing list by a councilor and will then be posted on the Wiki at: https://community.icann.org/display/gnsocouncilmeetings/Motions+20+December+2018
