Dear Councilors,

On behalf of the small team of volunteers (John, Olga, Sebastien, Stephanie, Tatiana, and Tom) who elected to work on a GNSO Council response to the ICANN Public Meeting Strategy survey, please find that draft response here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1v7pl9kWbCTRFYfmWNA-XNQolx6hAYSiUm-rlUUIY7E8/edit?usp=sharing. Understanding that the SG/Cs and individuals from those groups have provided their own input in many cases, the draft response was kept narrowly focused and consistent with feedback that the Council has provided in the past to the ICANN Public Meeting Strategy.

Note that the deadline has actually passed for providing feedback. In the interest of time, I am planning to provide the feedback to my ICANN org colleagues now and note that the draft was only just shared with the full Council for its non-objection, which may result in a revision to the response at a later date. Accordingly, if any Councilors see something that requires changing, please let us know ASAP.
