Dear Councilors,

As an action item from the Council wrap-up session, staff was to circulate a list of projects where a Council liaison is needed. From our understanding, it appears that just one effort is in imminent need of a replacement:

• New gTLD Subsequent Procedures: Keith Drazek (serving in interim basis)

Of note, there was some discussion of Paul McGrady stepping down from his role with the Rights Protection Mechanisms PDP and rejoining SubPro, with Maxim Alzoba stepping into the RPMs role in his stead.

However, there are several other projects that need a replacement, but are of a less urgent nature:

• WHOIS Procedure Implementation Advisory Group (WPIAG): Keith Drazek (with effort on hold, no urgent need, but Keith intends to step down if this effort does initiate)
• Curative Rights Protections for IGO/INGOs: Susan Kawaguchi (Final Report delivered, but next steps still being determined)
• Thick WHOIS: Susan Kawaguchi
