Hi Tomslin. The chair was not present in the deliberations. As an SSC member, I just wanted to assure you that the deliberations were objective. Candidates were ranked in a polling process subsequent to review of each EOI. I believe
the deliberations may have been recorded. If so, staff will be able to provide you with a link to that session.

Thanks for the update, Greg.
I have no specific concern as I trust the SSC did its job well according to its charter. It just raises eyebrows when the chair of the selection committee is the name chosen by the same selection committee for
a GNSO role.
Warmly,
Tomslin

Hi All,
I have a quick update to the placeholder motion that was submitted for Nomination of an ICANN Fellowship Program Mentor and is an item is on the 19 January Council agenda. Please be advised that the SSC is recommending Arinola Akinyemi, and that her name will be filled into the motion. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks,
Greg
