The Policy Development Process Working Group requests your input on this initial report, which covers a range of topics related to the transfer of generic top-level domains and proposes a variety of changes to the current transfer policy.

NEW: ICANN Seeks Input on IDN Tables Review Process Without Reference LGR

Currently there are 26 script-based Reference LGRs published, and ICANN org is able to review IDN Tables in hundreds of languages written in these scripts. However, there are 161 scripts encoded in Unicode standard and many of those scripts do not have Reference LGRs available.

Jia-Rong Low, ICANN VP, Stakeholder Engagement and Managing Director, Asia Pacific (APAC), has made the decision to leave the ICANN org. He will stay on until Wednesday, 21 August to ensure a smooth transition.
