Dear Councilors,

As was discussed and agreed during the Council’s August meeting, the motion for the “Approval of the GNSO Council’s Clarifying Statement Regarding Select Pending SubPro Recommendations” required minor amendments, as a result of the removal of the PICs/RVCs related Topics and relevant recommendations. You will see that in the motion, it now captures the original Clarifying Statement in Whereas #7, the modified Clarifying Statement in redline in Whereas #8, and the approved modified Clarifying Statement in Resolved #1: https://gnso.icann.org/en/council/resolutions/2020-current#202308. Capturing the three documents and their evolution was noted to be important to the Council

I do not believe any further actions are needed at this stage and this message is just to ensure the Council is informed. If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know.
