I would like to suggest a couple of amendments to the proposed motion - I hope Carlton would consider them as friendly amendments:

1) Resolve clause one, add the word "Council"

"1. The GNSO Council appoints Jeff Neuman to serve as GNSO Council Liaison to the New gTLD Subsequent Procedures ODP."

2) Resolved clause 3, add the reference to the EoI by adding the wording "to fulfil the responsibilities defined in the EoI."

"3. The GNSO Council instructs the GNSO Secretariat to inform the nominated candidate that he has been selected to fulfil the responsibilities defined in the EoI."

3) Remove a typo in whereas 3, the word "to" is used twice: process to to solicit volunteers
