Dear SO/AC/SG Chairs
The Finance team would like to provide you with some information that will help you understand our intent for the ICANN meeting week, in regard to the FY12 Framework and the SO/AC/SG Additional Requests to the proposed budget.
On Monday 14 March, from 1530-1630 in the Tower Salon A on the Lobby level, we will have a public session and discussion around the posted FY12 Framework. This will NOT be a slide by slide repeat of the posted Framework but a more detailed look into the key components of the revised budget process, including the effects of the New gTLD Launch/No Launch scenarios.
We strongly encourage you to attend this session, and for you to encourage your constituency members to do the same, as this is the best forum to ask questions and have your voice heard (other than our open public comment on the ICANN website).
Many of you have requested and been slotted for individual status updates during your regularly scheduled constituency and stakeholder meetings; for those who have not yet provided feedback on this, please email
janice.lange@icann.org and we will do our best to create an opportunity that works with your schedule. Please be aware that this update will be a status of the SO/AC/SG Additional Requests to the FY12 Budget process, and not a FY12 Framework presentation. We will use this time to clarify any questions we may have on the requests, or for you to ask questions on the next steps in the process.
