Registration is now open for the ICANN76 Community Forum, which will be held both virtually and in-person from 11-16 March 2023 in Cancún, Mexico. In-person registration closes 8 March 2023, while virtual registration closes 16 March 2023.

REMINDER: ICANN76 Community Childcare Grants Pilot Program Application Now Open

 

ICANN is opening the application round for its Community Childcare Grants Pilot Program for ICANN76 in Cancún, Mexico. The program facilitates in-person participation of community members with children 12 years or younger at ICANN Public Meetings and eligible ICANN events.

 

The deadline to apply for the ICANN76 grant is Friday, 13 January 2023 at 23:59 Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). The application is available here [r20.rs6.net].

NEW: ICANN Receives Final Declaration in the Namecheap Independent Review Process

 

ICANN received the final declaration [r20.rs6.net] in the Namecheap, Inc., versus ICANN Independent Review Process (IRP) on 26 December 2022. ICANN's IRP is a dispute-resolution mechanism created under the ICANN Bylaws. The final declaration was issued by a three-member panel of neutral arbitrators, following a formal and lengthy process administered by the International Centre for Dispute Resolution.

REMINDER ICANN Request for Proposal: Software Engineering Staff Augmentation

 

Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) organization issued a request for proposal (RFP) to identify a contracting firm that can provide staff augmentation resources across multiple projects for software engineering, along with a cross functional team.

REMINDER: ICANN Restarts the Community Regional Outreach Program for FY23

 

ICANN organization is restarting the Community Regional Outreach Program (CROP). The Fiscal Year 2023 (FY23) CROP space [r20.rs6.net] is now available for use by eligible community groups. FY23 CROP trips will be available starting Monday, 16 January 2023.

REMINDER: Call for SOs/ACs to Nominate Fellowship Program Mentors and Selection Committee Members

 

Supporting Organizations (SOs) and Advisory Committees (ACs) are invited to nominate volunteers to serve as mentors in its Fellowship Program and to serve on the Fellowship Program Selection Committee. There will be a total of seven mentors and seven Selection Committee members, and each group is welcome to nominate one individual for each role.

 

Interested SOs/ACs should select their respective Fellowship Program mentor and Selection Committee representative by Tuesday, 31 January 2023 and notify fellowshipconsultation@icann.org. Individual self-nominations will not be considered.
