Separately, regarding the language for Board reversal of a previously adopted Policy Recommendation, could you please forward by reply all a redline of the new draft against the draft language approved by Council in Dublin and sent out for public comment? I apologize if I missed that particular redline in previous correspondence to the list.

One instance of a Board reversal that gave rise to the need to codify this process of "un-adoption" of a previously adopted Recommendation was the Board's reversal of Recommendation 7 of the CCWG Auction Proceeds. In that instance, the unadoption of Recommendation 7 by the Board in Hamburg resulted in "pushback" from the community (including a Request for Reconsideration filing) and a compromise was ultimately reached to modify the language to address the Board's concerns. Hopefully this sort of consultation, dialogue and potential compromise will be readily available under the proposed new language in the GNSO Operating Procedures for PDPs and GGPs.

We will also want to make sure that there is no limitation in the new language in the Operating Procedures that would foreclose the use of any Accountability mechanism.
