Dear Avri and all:
I write to offer a potentially friendly amendment to the motion for the creation of the CWG-IG.
By way of background, the current motion reads that “Each GNSO Stakeholder Group will identify one member to serve on the CWG-IG by 15-October-2014.” The IPC feels that this is an oversimplification. Instead, in conformity with the
CWG-IG Charter, and discussions among the Charter drafting team, we propose that the motion instead read as follows:
Each GNSO Stakeholder Group, or (where a stakeholder group consists of separate constituencies) each constituency, notwithstanding the GNSO Co-Chair appointment, will identify
one member to serve on the CWG-IG by 15-October-2014.
We hope this revised language and level of clarity meets with your approval.
Thank you,
Brian

Should be: As the charter calls for each of the chartering organizations to

Should be CWG-IG and to serve as GNSO Council liaison to the group.
