Registration is now open for the FY23 Additional Budget Request (ABR) Process Webinar that will be held on Tuesday, 30 November 2021 at 16:00 UTC.

REMINDER: SSAD ODP Project Update Webinar

ICANN will host a webinar on 18 November 2021 at 16:00 UTC to provide an update on the System for Standardized Access/Disclosure Operational Design Phase (SSAD ODP). The webinar will be presented in English with interpretation in Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, and Spanish available through the Adigo dial in line. Video and audio recordings will be published on the SSAD ODP webpage [r20.rs6.net].

NEW: ICANN and IETF Publish Guidance on How to Use IANA Protocol Parameter Data

ICANN announced that it has issued a joint statement [r20.rs6.net] with the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) Trust confirming that the data in the Protocol Registries are intended to be used freely by any party for any purpose. This includes hundreds of thousands of technical data points, all of which have a common purpose of supporting the interoperability of the Internet.

NEW: Measuring ICANN's Engagement in Africa: The ICANN Survey

ICANN organization's Global Stakeholder Engagement (GSE) Africa team published a survey today. Its goal is to solicit community input on ICANN's engagement efforts in Africa during the period between 1 July 2016 and 30 June 2021. This, in turn, will help us review and realign the implementation of the ICANN Africa Regional Plan for Fiscal Years (FY) 2021-2025 [r20.rs6.net] by identifying the activities that are of most interest to the different stakeholders in the region, as well as establish priorities for next steps.

NEW: Recording Now Available for the ICANN Informational Session on DNS Abuse

ICANN Board hosted an informational session on Domain Name System (DNS) abuse on 22 October 2021, in advance of ICANN72. The session materials and recording are now available here [r20.rs6.net].
