The Council chairs have informally let Bruce know that the Council will be closing its vote on its review of the GAC Communique on 9 August, the same day that the Board will be holding its meeting to consider the PPSAI PDP recommendations: https://www.icann.org/resources/board-material/agenda-2016-08-09-en. While they were obviously not able to present the Council’s specific comments on the PPSAI issue pending the result of the vote, they thought it might be helpful if the Board knew that the Council is considering comments on the GAC’s Helsinki advice on this topic. Our understanding is that Bruce has in turn notified the rest of the ICANN Board.
