Hi Farzaneh,

It’s up to Council to choose which topics they’d like to discuss. I’m more than happy to add this one as well. We will send a note to Board Ops and we can discuss specific talking points in our Council working session.

Thanks,
Greg

Hello Greg

This suggested Board topic is very important:

2. How can we work more closely together to ensure governments are encouraged not to legislate around the multi-stakeholder model?

Are we dropping it? I recommend not to.

Dear Councilors,

The Board has proposed the following possible topics for our ICANN 82 bilateral and encouraged us to suggest others.

Board topics:
1. Please provide input on meeting structure

2. How can we work more closely together to ensure governments are encouraged not to legislate around the multi-stakeholder model?

3. What are the challenges you face in contributing to the budget and ops plan discussions?

Of these, Leadership believes topic one is likely the most relevant. We propose the following agenda for this bilateral:

1. Please provide input on meeting structure (Board topic)

2. Addressing process gap (unadapting recommendations) (GNSO topic)

3. Board-readiness/continuous improvement (GNSO topic)

Please provide any feedback by 22 February. We will have a chance to discuss more specific talking points on each topic during a working session before the meeting with the Board.

Thanks,

Greg
