REMINDER: Focus on Finance: Learn More about the ICANN Board Finance Committee

ICANN invites the community to join a webinar on Tuesday,14 September 2021 at 18:00 UTC to learn more about the work of the ICANN Board Finance Committee. Please register [r20.rs6.net] in advance.

The ICANN Board Finance Committee helps protect ICANN's long-term future by helping ensure ICANN has the resources to fulfill its important mission. The committee's scope of responsibilities focuses mainly on budget oversight and providing strategic oversight on financial matters. Committee members will discuss related topics including their approach to the committee's oversight role, how they provide support to the organization through the annual budget process, and how they help ensure the community is heard in ICANN's financial decision-making.

The webinar will be one hour with a short presentation and then members will welcome questions from the community. The webinar will be presented in English with interpretation in Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, and Spanish.

REMINDER: FY23-27 Operating and Financial Plan and FY23 Operating Plan and Budget Webinar

ICANN org invites the ICANN community to participate in one of two webinars on the planning process for the FY23-27 Operating and Financial Plan and FY23 Operating Plan and Budget. Please register for one of the two webinars:

The ICANN org Planning team will discuss the FY23 planning process, key assumptions, and timeline. There will be an opportunity to ask questions.

In addition to the webinars, the ICANN community has further opportunity to participate in this planning process. The draft plans will be published for Public Comment in early December 2021.

Community participation in ICANN's planning process is a cornerstone of transparency and accountability to the global multistakeholder community. ICANN thanks all the community members who contribute to this important process.

NEW: Register Now for the SSAD ODP Project Update Webinar

ICANN invites the community to join a follow-up webinar on the System for Standardized Access/Disclosure (SSAD) Operational Design Phase (ODP) on Thursday, 23 September 2021 at 03:00 UTC (Wednesday, 22 September 2021 at 20:00 PDT).

Please register [r20.rs6.net] in advance for details on how to join the webinar.

The webinar will provide a status report on the progress made during the ODP and share additional details about when the Operational Design Assessment (ODA) is expected to be delivered to the ICANN Board. It will also include a general discussion of the ODP [r20.rs6.net] moving forward and lessons learned.

The webinar will be presented in English with interpretation in Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, and Spanish. Video and audio recordings will be published on the SSAD ODP webpage [r20.rs6.net].

DUE TODAY: Expressions of Interest for Registration Data Accuracy Scoping Team Chair

The Generic Names Supporting Organization (GNSO) Council is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) to chair the Registration Data Accuracy Scoping Team. The Council approved the formation of the team and provided instructions [r20.rs6.net] during its meeting on 22 July 2021. The deadline to submit an EOI is Thursday, 9 September 2021 at 23:59 UTC. All submissions must be sent to gnso-secs@icann.org.
