NEW: Community Communications Support Guidelines

ICANN org recently developed Community Communications Support Guidelines. These guidelines are a communications guide to help the ICANN community to manage their own communications plans. It identifies the communications assets that are available and provides guidelines on usage. It also addresses areas in which the ICANN Communications Team can support the ICANN community. 

 

These guidelines are intended for ICANN community leaders and their respective groups.

TOMORROW: Webinar Invitation: CCWG Auction Proceeds Final Report

The co-chairs of the Cross-Community Working Group (CCWG) on New gTLD Auction Proceeds will be hosting a 60-minute informational webinar for its chartering organizations about its Final Report [r20.rs6.net] on Tuesday, 7 July 2020 at 12:00 UTC. All Supporting Organizations and Advisory Committees are chartering organizations of the CCWG.

 

The primary purpose of this webinar is to provide information to the chartering organizations about CCWG recommendations and Final Report, as well as answer questions that they may have as they consider CCWG outputs. However, anyone who is interested in this topic is welcome to attend, even if they are not affiliated with the chartering organizations. Additional information can be found here [r20.rs6.net]. TOMORROW: Call for Expressions of Interest: ICANN 2021 Nominating Committee Chair and Chair-Elect

 

ICANN is seeking Expressions of Interest for the chair and chair-elect of the 2021 Nominating Committee. For additional information on the positions, please refer to the call for expressions of interest announcement [r20.rs6.net]

 

Expressions of Interests, which will be maintained as confidential, should be sent to nomcomchair2021@icann.org no later than Tuesday, 7 July 2020. A suggested form for submitting an Expression of Interest is available here [r20.rs6.net].

 

 

REMINDER: Webinar Invitation: ATRT3 Final Report

The third Accountability and Transparency Review Team (ATRT3) invites the community to participate in a webinar on its Final Report [r20.rs6.net]. There are two opportunities to participate:

·     Wednesday, 15 July 2020, 15:30-16:30 UTC

·     Thursday, 16 July 2020, 07:00-08:00 UTC

 

During the webinar, the ATRT3 will present an overview of the recommendations in its Final Report and answer questions.

REMINDER: Call for Expressions of Interest: Standing Panel for the ICANN Independent Review Process

 

On 31 March 2020, ICANN opened a call for Expressions of Interest for panelists to serve on the omnibus Standing Panel for the ICANN Independent Review Process (IRP).

 

Candidates for the IRP omnibus Standing Panel should review the Expressions of Interest document [r20.rs6.net] [r20.rs6.net]before submission. The document includes the following information:

 

·     Panel Position Description

·     Required or Highly Preferred Skills

·     Required or Highly Preferred Experience

·     Time Commitment

·     Compensation and Selection

 

Expressions of Interest should be submitted to irp-standingpanel-eoi2020@icann.org by 23:59 UTC on Friday, 31 July 2020.
