Agree with you both. Indeed there should be some parameters set. One of which would need to be that neutrality be maintained by the liaison as well as only stating positions that are established or mandated by the council when engaging with the GAC. Will be important to work within the mandate.

Thanks Zahid for volunteering and Jeff for responding.

 

Agreed, we need an agreed set of parameters to work with and that the GAC buys into as well.

 

I’ll aim to put some thoughts down today as to where we are currently as well as the additional steps we need to take.

It will be good to get the dialogue going on this with a view to resolving it and appointing a liaison (assuming we go ahead with it) at or around Buenos Aires.

Thanks Zahid for volunteering.  But before we select one, I am still not clear what the role of a reverse Liaison would be.  We probably should come up with some guidelines and rules of engagement.
