Subject: [council] Letter re: Data Accuracy
Dear Councilors,
This is a reminder to provide any feedback or comments on the draft GAC letter (letter[docs.google.com])
circulated last week. To allow us sufficient time for review and final adjustments and to ensure the letter is send out before ICANN81, we would appreciate if all feedback could be submitted by end of day tomorrow – 31 October.
As previously discussed, the Council agreed to send a letter to the GAC, acknowledging the importance of accuracy-related work and the Council’s commitment to making progress on this topic. Additionally, the draft
letter [docs.google.com] notes that the Council does not believe the DPA/DPS is a dependency for further work on accuracy. Instead, the letter acknowledges the Council’s commitment to make progress and plans to do this by soliciting
input from interested groups, including the GAC.
The letter has been updated to account for the discussed and agreed to next steps on Accuracy.
Thanks,
Greg
