NEW: Implementation
Operations team interactive update on the ‘Enhancing ICANN’s Multistakeholder Model (MSM)’ Project
In 2019, the ICANN Board initiated a project aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of ICANN's multistakeholder model – one of the strategic objectives outlined in ICANN's Strategic Plan
for Fiscal Years (FY) 2021-2025. This effort is critical to ensuring that the multistakeholder model is able to evolve and meet the ever-changing needs of ICANN's global community.
The Implementation Operations team is offering an up to 30 min interactive update on this project, more specifically on the evaluation methodology, which is used to assess the current
projects/initiatives that are supporting the MSM.
If you like this update to be part of your constituency/committee ICANN75 agenda, please email
giovanni.seppia@icann.org and/or
negar.farzinnia@icann.org. We look forward to working together on enhancing ICANN’s MSM.

NEW: SubPro
ODP Update: Focus on the Systems and Tools Work Track
Throughout our work on the new generic top-level domain (gTLD) Subsequent Procedures (SubPro) Operational Design Phase (ODP), I've been communicating about how this effort is organized.
In my
last blog
[r20.rs6.net],
I wrote about Work Track 3, Operational Readiness. Closely paired with that effort is Work Track 4, Systems and Tools. It includes the proposal, design, and implementation of secure,
private, and efficient systems for future gTLD application rounds. Developing the processes for ongoing maintenance and continuous improvement is also included in this track.

As of 30 September 2022, several members and liaisons of the Customer Standing Committee (CSC) will complete their term. ICANN
org will soon be asking chairs to initiate your respective group's processes to appoint members and liaisons to these seats. While members are required, liaison appointments are optional (albeit strongly encouraged). To ensure that the appointment process
is completed in time for the start of the next CSC term, ICANN org will ask to be notified of your appointments by
Monday, 1 August 2022.
More information will be shared directly via email, including detailed guidance about the process, candidate qualification requirements, and key dates.
More information about the CSC can be found
