NEW: SubPro ODP Community Status Update

 

The Community Status Update summarizes the efforts of ICANN org in performing the New gTLD Subsequent Procedures (SubPro) Operational Design Phase (ODP). The period covered is from 3 January to 28 March 2022.

 

 

 

REMINDER: ICANN's 2022 Middle East DNS Forum to Take Place Virtually in May

 

ICANN org's eighth Middle East Domain Name System (DNS) Forum will take place virtually from Monday-Wednesday, 16-18 May 2022 and will offer a closer look at the evolving DNS ecosystem from a technical and policy perspective. It will have a special focus on regional challenges and opportunities for growth.

 

 

 

REMINDER: ICANN Org's Draft Planning Prioritization Framework (Version 1) Now Available

 

ICANN org recently published the initial draft [r20.rs6.net] of its Planning Prioritization Framework. Since FY21, planning at ICANN has been one of 15 Operating Initiatives included in ICANN’s Operating Plan. As part of this initiative, the draft Planning Prioritization Framework is designed to help ICANN prioritize its work within the planning cycle in a manner that is transparent, inclusive, and efficient.

 

 

 

REMINDER: NextGen@ICANN Application Deadline for ICANN74 Extended Through Friday, 1 April 2022

 

ICANN has extended the deadline to submit applications for the NextGen@ICANN program for the ICANN74 Policy Forum Meeting. The closing date for applications is now Friday, 1 April 2022.
