Please find attached the letter intended to the Board on Closed Generics.
As shared earlier, we were not able to find wording that would be agreeable to the GAC and ALAC and agreed with them that we would send our own letter. They already sent their joint GAC – ALAC letter last week.
The attached is the letter we previously shared with Council removing references to its joint nature now that we are sending it on our own.
Please review and comment by Wednesday 18 October at the latest. I am travelling on Thursday and want it out to the Board before the start of ICANN 78.
