NEW: Prep Week: ICANN Board Engagement with the ICANN Community - Topic: Reviews

The ICANN Board is eager to continue its dialogue with the community on the future of ICANN Reviews. Join this special hot topic session on 28 May as part of ICANN83 Prep Week.

🗓️ Mark your calendar and save the link: https://go.icann.org/3GUDab6

Session Details:

As ICANN has grown, Reviews have played a key role in assessing its continued accountability, transparency, and effectiveness. Over the past several meetings, the Board has heard from the ICANN community a strong interest in rethinking how these Review processes can evolve to meet the needs of the future. In this session, the ICANN Board will continue its dialogue with the community, focusing on the path ahead. NEW: PSR on Expired Domain Deletion and Expired Registration Recovery Policies

In response to a Generic Names Supporting Organization (GNSO) Council resolution for a Policy Status Report (PSR) on the for the Expired Domain Deletion Policy (EDDP) and Expired Registration Recovery Policy (ERRP), The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) Organization has drafted the report and has now posted this report for Public Comment.

The PSR examines how both the EDDP and ERRP perform based on three overarching goals: uniformity, clarity, and sufficient notice. ICANN org invites any individual or group with an interest in this PSR to provide comments to aid ICANN org in the evaluation and assessment of the EDDP and ERRP as they currently stand.

You can find the Public Comment Proceeding here [danh45uab.cc.rs6.net].
