Dear Heather and Keith,

I am pleased to inform you that the ccNSO Council has formally adopted the Guidelines for ccNSO-GNSO Joint Consultation on the Initiation of a Special IANA Function Review.

The Guideline is posted at: https://ccnso.icann.org/en/about/guidelines.htm under “Other Guidelines”. Although I hope we will never need to apply this Guideline, it is good to know we are ready.

From our perspective this was an excellent example of a fruitful collaboration between GNSO and ccNSO. I would like to thank the GNSO Council Drafting Team, and especially Heather, Julie and Ariel, for being the driving force behind this effort.
