Thanks Chuck,
 
it seems to me that in the near future a discussion is needed on the further development of ICANN security policy (on GNSO and other SO/AC level). DNS-CERT is one part of it. In recent cases some stakeholders/constituencies have been asked separately for comments on DNS security/stability issues where a co-ordinated comprehensive evaluation maybe necessary. I think a common SO/AC view on the subject would be helpful for all parties involved.
