REMINDER: ICANN Continues the Pandemic Internet Access Reimbursement Program
Interested ICANN community members must apply in advance of ICANN73, and those who meet the eligibility requirements will be selected to participate. The
application process [r20.rs6.net] opens
Monday, 24 January 2022. The application deadline is Friday, 18 February 2022 at 23:59 UTC.
The goal of this program is to facilitate participation in ICANN Public Meetings during the pandemic. It offers community members who have limited Internet capacity
financial assistance to increase their Internet bandwidth.

ICANN73 Prep Week Schedule Now Available
Today, ICANN announced the ICANN73 Prep Week schedule. Prep Week consists of 12 sessions to prepare the ICANN community for the ICANN73 Virtual Community Forum taking
place
7–10 March 2022.
ICANN73 Prep Week will take place
22–24 February 2022. Sessions will be conducted in English and will feature remote simultaneous
interpretation in Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, and Spanish. To attend any of the sessions, please register
[r20.rs6.net] for ICANN73.

NEW: ICANN Publishes FY22 Unaudited Financial Results
ICANN and Public Technical Identifiers (PTI) published their unaudited financial results through the second quarter of fiscal year 2022 (FY22).
ICANN’s financial position remains as strong as it has been for the past several quarters. Funding through December 2021 is higher than the previous year’s actual
funding and the current year’s budgeted funding, driven by the growth of domain name registrations. Expenses are lower than budgeted, predominantly due to limited travel caused by travel restrictions, ICANN72 being held virtually, and lower than planned headcount.

Nominations for ICANN Fellowship Program Mentors Now Open
ICANN Supporting Organizations and Advisory Committees are invited to nominate volunteers to serve as Fellowship Program Mentors for ICANN75-ICANN77. Each group is
welcome to nominate one individual for this role, for a total of up to seven mentors. Nominations should be submitted by
Friday, 25 February 2022 to
fellowshipconsultation@icann.org.

Today, ICANN opened the Fellowship Program application round for the ICANN75 Annual General Meeting. The meeting is scheduled for
17–22 September 2022 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. If ICANN75 is held virtually, the Fellowship Program will also be held virtually. The deadline to apply is
Thursday, 3 March 2022 at 23:59 UTC. Successful candidates will be announced on
Tuesday, 17 May 2022 on the ICANN website.

Calling for NextGen@ICANN Applications for ICANN74
The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) is calling for applications for the NextGen@ICANN program.
ICANN wants to hear from university students living and studying in Europe who are interested in the future of the Internet and in participating in the ICANN74 Policy
Forum Meeting. ICANN74 is scheduled to be held in The Hague, Netherlands from 13 to 16 June 2022. If ICANN74 is held virtually, the NextGen@ICANN Program will also be held virtually.
The NextGen application window will remain open until
Friday, 11 March 2022. Successful candidates will be announced Friday, 25 March 2022 on the ICANN website.
