Dear Councilors,

The GNSO is currently seeking volunteers to fill the roles of GNSO Non-Registry Liaison to the Customer Standing Committee (CSC) and its Alternate. Any member of a GNSO Stakeholder Group/Constituency - except the gTLD Registries Stakeholder Group (RySG) - is eligible to apply.

However, with the deadline fast approaching (Wednesday, 16 July 2025 at 23:59 UTC), we have yet to receive any applications for these roles.

While the current CSC Charter does not require each SO/AC to appoint a Liaison or Alternate, the effectiveness of the CSC depends on the commitment and expertise of its members. This effectiveness could be compromised if appointing organizations are unable to identify suitable - or any - candidates.

To this end, we encourage each of you to reach out to your respective SG/Cs to identify individuals who may be interested in serving in this capacity, and if so, to submit their applications by the deadline.

As noted in the email below, candidates must complete the attached Expression of Interest (EOI) Form and send it to gnso-secs@icann.org.

The GNSO is seeking to select volunteers to fill the roles of GNSO Non-Registry Liaison to the Customer Standing Committee (CSC) and its Alternate. Any member of a GNSO Stakeholder Group/Constituency, except the gTLD Registries Stakeholder Group (RySG), is eligible to apply.

Candidates must complete the attached Expression of Interest (EOI) Form and submit it to gnso-secs@icann.org no later than Wednesday, 16 July 2025 at 23:59 UTC. Kindly note that there will be a single selection process for both positions - Non-Registry Liaison and its Alternate to the CSC - where the GNSO’s Standing Selection Committee (SSC) will select the top two candidates based on qualifications to be appointed as the liaison and its alternate role. Accordingly, please only submit one EOI for this process.
