Thank you for circulating this correspondence. 

With reference the last sentence on the first page of Maarten's letter which reads, "In this context, the Board expresses its support for the GNSO Council Small Team’s and the GAC’s endorsement to add a member of the At-Large Advisory Committee (ALAC) to the facilitated dialogue." I was reliably informed recently that this suggests that it would be for the GNSO and GAC (rather than the Board) to invite ALAC as party to the facilitated dialogue. 

While I was able to separately relay ALAC leadership's support for Melissa Peters Allgood's nomination to serve as neutral facilitator for the dialogue, I would respectfully request that Council consider acting reasonably quickly to formally invite ALAC on board, so that ALAC can be directly informed of and suitably represented in relevant matters raised in communications between the Board, GNSO and GAC related to the dialogue, moving forward.

The Board seeks our respective views on two elements a) whether we have an objection against Melissa Peters Allgood, as the Conflict Resolution Specialist with org to serve as neutral facilitator for the dialogue and b) the structure/size of the group. Given that those two items were already discussed within the small team, we may hopefully wrap this up quickly; leadership will come back to the list with a proposal.
