NEW: ICANN Operating and Financial Plan for FY25-29 and FY25 Plan and Budget Adopted

 

The ICANN FY25–29 Operating and Financial Plan and FY25 Operating Plan and Budget were the result of 11 months of collaboration among ICANN org, the community, the ICANN Board Finance Committee, and the Public Technical Identifiers Board. ICANN thanks all community members who participated in this important process and contributed to improving its outcome.

NEW: ICANN NCAP Discussion Group Delivers Key Recommendations for the Next Round

 

The NCAP Discussion Group, which was formed in 2019, delivered a final report that contains 11 strategic recommendations.

NEW: Implementation of Work Stream 2 and ICANN Specific Reviews Recommendations

 

Out of the 65 recommendations in the ICANN org portfolio, 51 are now complete. ICANN org continues to address the remaining recommendations pertaining to Jurisdiction, Supporting Organization and Advisory Committee Accountability, and Transparency matters.

🔥 ACTION ITEM: Call for NextGen@ICANN81 Applications

 

ICANN wants to hear from university students ages 18-30 living and studying in the Asia Pacific region who are interested in the future of the Internet and participating in the ICANN81 Annual General Meeting. ICANN81 is scheduled to be held in Istanbul, Türkiye, from 9–14 November 2024.
