ICANN GDD Staff is asking the Registrar Stakeholder Group to renew the Temporary Specification on Privacy & Proxy Services in the 2013 RAA.  Given the state of work of the PPSAI IRT, it is necessary that that this specification continue beyond 31 DEC 2017.

Dear Graeme and James,

In 2016, a Registrar Working Group was appointed by the Registrar Stakeholder Group to address the matter of extending the 2013 Registrar Accreditation Agreement Specification on Privacy and Proxy Registrations. Given the current status of the Privacy Proxy Implementation Review Team, the ICANN organization kindly seeks your support to extend this expiration date again.

Currently, the published extension date is 1 January 2018.  Thank you in advance for your response.
