We'd had a discussion with Goran prior to that session whereby all SO/AC chairs (and me as a proxy) cautioned that we couldn't make decisions, we don't have the authority. After the OEC left the room, we discussed what was within our authority to do (call in our reps and ask them what's going on). The lesson for me is that I I should have put a marker down to say "I can't say either way, I have to go back to the community".

I hope you don’t feel that my intervention at the Board/GNSO meeting was intended to be any criticism of you. It was not and if I have offended you then I apologise. I believe that my statement was an accurate description of what happened but if you feel that it was inaccurate please do let me know. I’ll be happy to ‘correct the record’ if that needs to be done.
