NEW: ICANN72 Governmental Advisory Committee Comuniqué Now Available

 

On 01 November 2021, the GAC issued its ICANN72 Communiqué.

 

 

 

NEW: ICANN72 Participation Metrics Preview

 

Thank you to everyone who helped make the ICANN72 Virtual Annual General Meeting, which took place from 25-28 October 2021, a success. A total of 1,305 attendees from 156 countries and territories joined.

 

 

 

NEW: Successful Candidates Announced for ICANN73 Fellowship

 

On 01 November 2021, ICANN announced the list of successful candidates selected to participate in the ICANN Fellowship Program during ICANN73. A total of 39 people from 27 countries will take part in the ICANN Public Meeting from 05-10 March 2022.

 

 

 

NEW: Request for Proposal: RSSAC028 Implementation

 

On 01 November 2021, the ICANN organization issued a request for proposal (RFP) to identify a contractor qualified to conduct the study called for in Section 7.2 of RSSAC028 [r20.rs6.net], "Technical Analysis of the Naming Scheme Used For Individual Root Servers."

 

 

 

NEW: SSAD ODP Update: Contractual Compliance and Identity Verification Methodology

 

During ICANN72, the System for Standardized Access/Disclosure Operational Design Phase [r20.rs6.net] (SSAD ODP) project team provided its third update. The project team thanks everyone who was able to join the interactive session (recording [r20.rs6.net], presentation [r20.rs6.net]). As the SSAD ODP project team continues its work, it will continue holding webinars and publish a blog post afterward to provide a brief recap and to restate any questions for the community.
