As noted in the action items from the 13 November Council meeting, please note the following action regarding to Item 6 (RDRS Standing Committee Report):

Action Items: 

• Councilors to review and read through the Findings Report [itp.cdn.icann.org] circulated by Sebastien to discuss for a vote in December.

As discussed during the Council meeting, the Standing Committee came to full consensus on four of the six recommendations and consensus on two of the six recommendations. As a reminder, these are not Policy recommendations. Instead, these recommendations are derived from the Standing Committee’s lessons learned from observing the RDRS during the 2-year pilot period. 

As noted during the November discussion, the Council will be acknowledging the work from the Standing Committee and agreeing (by vote) to refer to the recommendations as a starting point in its dialogue with the Board re: the SSAD recommendations from EPDP (RegData) Phase 2. Voting on the report does not amount to voting on policy recommendations. 

Please ensure you have reviewed the Findings Report prior to the December Council meeting on Thursday, 11 December 2025. If you have any questions, please feel free to send them to the list, and I will do my best to answer them in advance of the December meeting.
