Based upon discussions on the list and at the Council Meeting on Thursday, August 25, GNSO Council Leadership and staff have prepared the attached letter edited in a way that we believe to be in line with the Council’s discussions.  Please provide any revisions, questions or comments in a reply to the list, keeping in mind this remains a joint GNSO/GAC/ALAC statement.  Once the Council has a draft, we will send this to the ALAC and GAC chairs.  Please provide your comments by Tuesday, September 5 at 22:00 UTC.
