Here is a general summary:
On 17 August, Community Leaders and Goran has a discussion regarding ICANN Meetings and Venue Selection.
The results were:
The ICANN organization will be preparing a paper for public comment on the format changes. Our goal is to have the public comment period open during the Abu Dhabi Meeting, so we plan to post the report on
9 October with the 40-day public comment period running through 17 November, which is two weeks after the meeting ends. This timing would allow us to review 3 weeks of early feedback before Abu Dhabi, informing our discussions there, while still allowing
the community two weeks’ time to comment after the meeting ends.
On a related topic, we posted for public comment on Monday, 21 August the ICANN Meeting dates in 2021, 2022 and 2023.
