I’ve previously informally expressed my interest in the SubPro IRT Liaison role, so would now like to do so formally. My first term on Council runs to the AGM 2024. I will be eligible to serve a second term through to AGM 2026 although this is obviously subject to my being re-elected by my constituency.

I participated throughout the SubPro PDP, including on many of the work tracks, and on the discussion group which preceded it, so I am familiar with the recommendations. Since joining Council I have also participated in the SubPro small teams. After nearly 5 years of PDP deliberations and 2 years since they were delivered it is crucial for the credibility of ICANN and its multistakeholder model that the recommendations are now implemented in a timely and efficient manner and that we do not see re-litigation in the IRT. I would welcome the opportunity to assist with that effort if appointed.
