Dear Councilors,

The above-mentioned study, which is Phase Two of the economic study that the ICANN Board requested regarding the competitive effects of the 2012 New gTLD Program round, has just been published for public comment: https://www.icann.org/news/announcement-2016-10-11-en. The public comment period will close on 5 December 2016.

You may recall that Phase One of the study was released in September 2015. This Phase Two report compares changes in the domain name marketplace since then, and includes an additional number of new gTLDs and registry/registrar-provided data in the sample. The final findings will be shared with the CCT Review Team.
