On behalf of Carlos Raúl Gutierrez and myself, co-chairs of the Cross-Constituency Working Group on Country and Territory Names (CWG), I respectfully submit the attached letter which the CWG proposes to submit as a comment to the GAC sub-working group on geographic names. The CWG seeks to notify the GNSO Council of this letter via the upcoming Council meeting and will seek the Council’s non-objection to submission of the letter. I would therefore be grateful for your inclusion of this item on the agenda.
