The ICANN68 GAC Communique is now out at https://gac.icann.org/contentMigrated/icann68-gac-communique As expected, there is no consensus advice, but "Issues of Importance to the GAC" has the following points: 1.Subsequent Rounds of New gTLDs 2.EPDP on gTLD Registration Data 3.DNS Abuse 4.IGO Protections 5.CCWG-Accountability Work Stream 2 Implementation There is also a follow-up on previous advice on the EPDP, where the GAC reiterates that the advice to "Distinguish between legal and natural persons, allowing for public access to WHOIS data of legal entities, which are not in the remit of the GDPR” still stands and should be considered. Thanks Julf In light of there not being any formal advice should we formally provide a scorecard as we have done previously or not? I would suggest not given the lack of formal advice. --- James Gannon On 6/28/2020 11:40:21 AM, Michele Neylon - Blacknight <michele@blacknight.com> wrote: Thanks Julf In light of there not being any formal advice should we formally provide a scorecard as we have done previously or not? Formally we only respond to consensus advice. We are of course free to comment on whatever we want, but not sure there is any point in this case. Julf
