Thanks Steve. Too bad the information isn’t terrible accessible. It appears that the record keeping convention changed at some point. This is what this year’s looks like: [cid:image001.png@01D7D57E.ADEF5DA0] (NomCom appointees clearly spelled out) But 2019 (and additional prior years I sampled) doesn’t do that: [cid:image002.png@01D7D57F.554B9AA0] I *think* we are to deduce from this that Carlos and Syed were the nominees in 2019, but it isn’t clear. In any event, presumably whoever put forward this motion originally has some fact based reason for doing so (I can’t imagine that there is any particular objection to me or Desiree – we are both delightful), so perhaps we can hear about whatever identifiable concern prompted the proposed change when we have our next Council call. Of course, and hopefully, the discuss may be moot if the Small Team decides to stick with character as the inclusivity factor rather than affiliation as the exclusivity factor.
