ALAC Submission on Call for Papers
Dear Council Members: I would like to direct your attention to an open Wiki page that the ALAC has maintained over the last few weeks. In e-mail messages to the certified At Large Structures, we asked for feedback on the wiki, and a number of our groups have participated in this project. The URL for the project is: http://www.icannwiki.org/ALAC_on_New_TLDs We have now closed comments and will be reorganizing these thoughts into a formal paper for the Council. For the record, attached to this e-mail you will find a copy of the Wiki page, in PDF format, as it existed at the close of the comment period. We look forward to sharing the views of the ALAC and its constituent bodies during the coming weeks. Very truly yours, Bret Fausett ALAC Liaison to the GNSO
Council members and other on this list. Could we exercise more discipline and less duplication in our postings? If you send to the council list, then all council members and liaisons and our staff see the message! And if a posting concerns the gTLDs PDP then posting just to Glen is sufficient as she will re-direct to the Custom list [gtld-council] which we are all on! Which makes it ever so easy to use e-mail rules for directing to custom folders ! Philip - (being grumpy so off to get a coffee now).

Thanks for the clarification Philip - I get similarly frustrated when list members use the reply-all function without trimming the to: and cc: lines - the duplication is maddening! :) I actually hadn't realized that Glen had created a new list for this work item - now I have some new message filters to create. Apologies if I started, or contributed to a trend. Ross - (who, realizing that drinking too much coffee makes one grumpy, is off to get a nice cup of Chamomile)
