Council members, you will all have suffered recently with cross-postings of e-mails sent to both Council and the various PDP lists. For those of you with long memories there is an existing rule against this practise. Although the language needs updating the intent is clear: http://gnso.icann.org/mailing-lists/cross-posting.shtml I request the GNSO secretariat implements this rule such that a cross-posted e-mail is not delivered. Council members who wish to be observers can always opt-in to ANY Council list. Opting in is a privilege: opting out is a problem! Many thanks for your understanding. Philip
